If I had realized then, what I know now, what different choices would I have made? As I was growing up, winding my way through the world, trying to figure out where I was going, who I was, what I wanted to be when I grew up; the continual searching, not only for myself, but answers; I became the eternal student.
Today, it feels strange to notice how not being ready to hear the teachings of prophets and sages while we are deaf, dumb and blind; that once the light and the awareness shines in, in hindsight; we are often astounded by the teachings we were exposed to without having any conscious realization surrounding that light. It is only recently, now; in the awareness of being present, I have come to see how things from years before have shaped who I have become. The messages which went undetected by my unconsciousness of those years are such huge, bright sign posts to me now. If I had realized then, what I know now, what different choices would I have made?
